🎄 Missed Fun Fact Friday — but hey, Christmas magic doesn’t keep a schedule!
So here’s a Fun Fact Foraging Wednesday to make up for it. ✨
Did you know…
Ancient winter traditions included foraging evergreens like holly, ivy, and pine because they symbolised life, protection, and good fortune during the darkest days of the year?
Those same plants inspired the Christmas decorations we still use today — from wreaths to garlands to the sprig of holly on top of the pudding!
So today’s Fun Fact Foraging is all about gathering festive magic — in nature, in people, and in moments. Whether it’s collecting pinecones on a winter walk, gathering memories with loved ones, or simply picking up little sparks of warmth wherever you can find them… it all counts. ❤️
And speaking of festive magic…
We’ve been out foraging and have created some beautiful Christmas wreaths, table decorations, and small teacher gifts — all wonderfully seasonal and perfect for spreading Christmas cheer.
✨ Prices range from £5.00 to £25.00.
Fresh flowers can be added for an extra £5.00, or you can get creative and add your own — fresh or faux! 🌿💐
✨ Let’s make this season sparkle. ✨
