🌿This Purple corn is a local superfood in Peru!
It provides powerful antioxidants, helps fight chronic diseases, helps improve digestion and blood sugar levels, helps improve vision and reduce inflammation. It is packed with vitamins and midlnerals.
This corn is not eaten, instead there is a drink that is made from it, called Chicha Morada. Most places add sugar to it unfortunately.
We love making our own with spices and unsweetened, adding a squeeze of lime before drinking 😊💜
