Most common problems of clients coming to therapy:
π Low self-esteem, belief "there's something wrong with me"...
π Negative beliefs about self, very active inner critic.
π Emotional problems, not dealing with anger, fear, sadness, etc.
π Depression, anxiety, panic attacks.
π Problems in a relationship, family, toxic relationships, lack of healthy communication.
π Experience of loss and grief (death of a loved one, breakup of a relationship, loss of a job, etc.)
π Parental and upbringing problems.
π Work related problems, feeling lost / lack of purpose.
π Traumatic experiences from the past, experience of emotional, mental, financial, s*xual, physical abuse...
π Existential crisis, the feeling of "I don't know who I really am".
π Addictions and compulsions (alcohol, drugs, gambling, s*x, shopping, cleaning and others).
π Eating disorders.
π ADHD, autism spectrum and accompanying difficulties.
π Adults who grew up in an alcoholic / dysfunctional family.
And many others...
The main goal of therapeutic work (in a nutshell) is to find the causes and sources of given problems, expand consciousness, and then heal the mind, body and soul by acknowledging the experiences and the emotions associated with them.
One of my sayings is "If you don't know what it is about, it's usually about childhood." And in fact, when we look for the cause of problems with clients, we usually go back to childhood. That is why working with the Inner Child is an amazing healing tool. That's why I talk about it so much.
