Bruises?? 😱❤️🩹
Educational video regarding bruises, what can we do to minimise the risk?
Who is at risk? The answer is EVERYONE, yes anyone that gets an injectable treatment is at risk of a bruise, yes there are things we do to minimise the risk however no one is risk free of a bruise ❤️🩹
Yes it’s an unfortunate downside of injectables however it’s temporary and it doesn’t affect the outcome / result of your treatment. 😘
A hematoma / a bruise is a small amount of blood that has formed below the skin after accident it nicking a little blood vessel, blood vessels in the face include 4 main arteries in the face, as well as veins and capillaries, an estimated 10billion blood capillaries with in the human body! Yup 10 BILLION! That’s a lot! 🤯
Try not drinking alcohol or caffeine, don’t have a smoke the day before and don’t exercise on your treatment day as this all adds extra risk of bruising. 🛑
Do take arnica supplements as these help with bruising (link in comments)✔️
Use ice therapy on any bruises that you might get after your treatment 🥶 ✔️
Plan your treatment if you can at least 2 weeks before a big event even 4 weeks before to really make sure any bruises have gone by your event. And choose and injector with a good understanding on the facial anatomy! 🤔 ✔️
