It's almost time 🤩

Tomorrow , thousands of people will lace up for the Manchester Marathon 2026.

The event has been taking place consistently since 2012, and is the UK's second largest marathon, the Manchester Marathon 2026 will see a record number of 42,000 participants take on the iconic 26.2 mile challenge 🏃

Good luck to everyone who is taking part this weekend, you will smash it 🙌 But importantly, have fun

Sheffield half marathon tomorrow 🏃🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

SHEFFIELD HALF MARATHON TO CLOSE MAJOR ROADS ACROSS THE CITY THIS SUNDAY

Thousands of runners are set to take part in the Sheffield Half Marathon this Sunday, with large parts of the city expected to be closed throughout the morning as the 13.1-mile route winds through key areas. Most road closures will begin between 8.30am and 9am and remain in place until around 1pm, affecting major routes including Ecclesall Road, Arundel Gate, Charter Row and Ringinglow Road.

Drivers are being warned to plan ahead, as at least 20+ roads across Sheffield will be impacted for several hours, with diversions and delays expected while the event takes place.
