🔥 Beltane is coming..🔥

Join us on Saturday 2 May from 6pm until 11pm!

What you can expect; a fire garden, Erys the fire-breathing dragon, a torchlit procession, fire performance, a big bonfire, marshmallows to toast, and of course, an iconic fire sculpture.

We also have a separate Beltane Firewalk taking place at 7pm - tickets for this can also be found online. Encouragement and celebration from spectators is welcomed 🔥

✨️ Volunteer Opportunities ✨️

We’re seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join our crew and help create a magical weekend of folklore, fae, and festivities.

Whether you can offer a single shift or the whole weekend, your support will make all the difference!

In exchange for volunteering, we're offering:

✨ One free meal per volunteer shift
✨ Free camping on site for the duration of the event
✨ Free entry to the fayre all weekend
✨ Free entry to the ticketed evening event
✨ Crew Gathering Sun evening

📌 Location: Tir Na nOg Holistic Centre, Balfron Station, Glasgow G63 0NF

⏰ Fayre Opening Hours
✨ Sat Day - 10:30 - 17:00
✨ Sat Eve - 18:00 - 23:00
✨ Sun Day - 11:30 - 17:00

We’re currently only taking applications for the June event. Another form will go up for September closer to the time.

Whispering Woods encompasses all things fantasy, for those who love magic and folklore, with an emphasis on community, art, music and belonging!

We’re looking for a mix of acts—whether you’re a musician, storyteller, performer, or offer something a little unexpected. If you think your act would suit the setting, we’d love to hear from you!

Belated Ostara Blessings to you all! 🐇🌸🌱

Ostara is a sacred festival and one of the eight Sabbats, celebrating the arrival of Spring, usually celebrated on/between March 20th to 22nd here in the Northern Hemisphere.

Symbols of this festival include hares/rabbits, representing fertility and abundance, as well as eggs as a sign of creation and potential. Daffodils embody blossoming new growth and hope, while colours like yellow, green and purple reflect the fresh energy of Spring.

How have you celebrated? 🌱🌼

As the wheel of the year has turned and changed, so has our window display! We're currently showcasing a range of our Ostara items here in our North shop. ✨️

Stall holder applications are now OPEN for Whispering Woods 🌿

We’re back for TWO events this year:

📅 13th & 14th June '26
📅 12th & 13th September '26

✨️ We’re looking for artists, makers, and magical traders to bring the woods to life!

✨️ We are proud supporters of artists, creators, and skilled makers, celebrating original, human (or Elf) made creations! We therefore have a strick no AI policy.

✨️ Both new and returning traders are welcome, although spots are limited and we expect pitches to fill quickly, so we strongly encourage applying as soon as possible!

Trader perks include:
🌿 Free camping on site
☕️ 15% off food & drink at The Soup Dragon
🎭 Free evening entertainment (2 tickets per stall + discounted extras)
