Unfortunately, the company that was set to provide axe throwing at Whispering Woods Fayre can no longer attend due to unexpected personal circumstances. We’re thinking of them at this time. 💚

We know many of you were excited for this activity and we’re sorry for the change. But don’t worry — there’s still a full weekend of daytime activities and magic waiting, with stalls, face painting, campfires, a dragon, tarot readers, and more!

✨️ Charities ✨️

We are raising money for two wonderful causes - Fire & Peace amd Refuweegee.

✨️ ✨️
Fire & Peace provide healing and recovery through nature, helping tor connect people to themselves and the natural world around them. Helping those with their mental health and addiction, Fire & Peace use a mix of bushcraft experiences to build a sense of strength, belonging and community.

Gerry and his team will have their own campfire community space on site, providing a mix of free (or by donation) activities, including traditional fire-lighting, stove-top cooking, and discussions around mental health with a fiery theme! (Swipe across to see times and details)

Refueweegee are dedicated to welcoming forcibly displaced people to Glasgow, through a mix of welcome and emergency packs across Scotland. They provide supplies, support and a sense of belonging to help people feel at home in their new community.

Refuweege unfortunately cannot join us on site, but we will be collecting donations in our 'Spirit of Kindness' tent!

🔮 Meet the Readers 🔮

This weekend, we have three wonderful readers joining us to provide both oracle and tarot readings!

✨️ Mystical Mindset Tarot ✨️
Mystical Mindset Tarot is a Glasgow-based tarot reader and has been on a wonderful spiritual journey for 4 years now. She welcomes good vibes and an open mind and is always happy to meet new spiritually minded folks. She will be joining on all weekend, but only during the day!

✨️ Becca Tarot ✨️
Becca is a professional tarot reader and spiritual coach with 20 years of experience. She runs a tarot parlour at Barras Market in Glasgow and has established herself as a powerful and compassionate reader. She strives to provide magickal, guiding and inspiring readings to every client. She will be joining us on Saturday evening!

The Hedgewench, will be with us all weekend, providing Oracle/Tarot readings from her fittingly Fae bell tent! She will be using a range of decks, from Faeries to Crystals, so she’s sure to have a deck matched to you!

⭑.ᐟ Space is on this Thursday 18th September. Come along to our monthly craft night for LGBTQ+ and/or Neurodivergent Folks 🌈♾️

We'll be in the Soup Dragon Cafe from 5 til 8pm as normal. The optional craft will be twiggy webs/spider webs (no creepy crawlies - just wool and twigs!). Feel free to bring along whatever craft you're working on or do some webs with us 🕸️

Materials provided. The kitchen will be closed but hot/cold drinks and cake will be available ☕🍰 Or feel free to bring your own.

Mine is probably Banded Amethyst because I love anything purple and it's also known to help with anxiety!

Step into the story with Tales From The Tavern! 🎲 Hosted by Sebastian, these beginner-friendly games bring collaborative storytelling to life in a woodland shelter at the heart of the festival.

Venture into the Whispering Woods aboard the Shuttle Beast! Guided by the Woodland Wayfinder, let our shuttle carry you safely between realms. Leave your cars behind and let the Beast bear you to the fayre, freeing the forest from traffic and your journey steeped in magic!

✨Balfron: Pick up from the car park behind/next to Co Op, near the bus stop. All times connect with the X10 bus arrivals and departures to/from Glasgow and Strirling.
