🌟 Meet Glen Davidson, Our Lead Security Instructor 🌟

We are proud to introduce Glen Davidson, our esteemed Lead Security Instructor at Horizon Security Solutions. With a remarkable 23-year career in the British Army's Royal Military Police (RMP), specialising in Close Protection, Glen brings a wealth of experience and dedication to his role.

During his time in the military, Glen embarked on numerous Close Protection Operational Tours worldwide, including challenging missions in Northern Ireland, the Balkans, Yemen, Iraq, Beirut, and Afghanistan. His expertise in ensuring the safety and security of high-profile individuals and assets has been honed through hands-on experience in diverse and demanding environments.

As a highly respected instructor, Glen continued to excel at the RMP Close Protection Unit (CPU), where he held significant roles and was eventually appointed as the CPU Training Warrant Officer. His leadership qualities and training proficiency were instrumental in shaping the next generation of security professionals.

Today, Glen Davidson is an integral part of the Horizon team, serving as a Close Protection and Physical Intervention Instructor. Horizon Security Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced security professional for a Residential Security Officer (RSO) position at an estate near Chipping Norton in the Cotswolds (OX7). This role was previously filled but has become available again due to unforeseen circumstances. Position Overview:

This role involves working night shifts on a two-week on, two-week off rota. Shifts are Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 19:00 to 07:00, totaling approximately eight paid shifts per calendar month.

Candidate Criteria:

* Military background: This is a client preference.
* Proven security experience.
* Valid SIA license.
* Full UK driving license and the ability to drive.
* Current medical qualification: Such as First Person on Scene (FPOS), First Response Emergency Care (FREC), or equivalent.
* Physical fitness: Must be able to meet the demands of the role.
* Commuting distance: Reside within approximately two hours of the estate.

Additional Details:

* Salary: £210 per 12-hour shift.
* Accommodation: On-site accommodation is available if required while on rotation.
* Contract Duration: Initially until the end of December, with a high likelihood of extension for a further 12 months due to a long-term client relationship.
* Start Date: Ideally from Friday, 14th November.
