From 1 September 2025, Dudley Local Authority’s SEND Team will be introducing a new way of working. This change will help to:
• Make communication better and faster
• Make sure the SEND Team is focusing on doing everything the law requires for children and young people with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) or undergoing a statutory assessment of need.

⚠️UK Health Security Agency has today issued a yellow Heat health Alert from tomorrow (Wednesday) until Tuesday 15 July 2025.⚠️

The summer heat can affect us all. Some people are more at risk of harm from high temperatures and need to be more careful. These include older people, especially those over 75, people who live on their own, those with a pre-existing health condition, babies and young children, and people who spend a lot of time outside or in hot places.

We need your help to host parent coffee mornings at local Dudley schools, as part of an exciting project to improve the inclusion of neurodivergent children in primary schools.

This questionnaire is designed to help Dudley Children’s Services understand the experiences of children and families receiving additional support, and to shape future flexible learning opportunities in the borough.

This questionnaire is designed to help the council understand the experiences of children and families receiving additional support, (this is where pupils receive extra support or different teaching methods that usually happen outside the classroom) and to shape future flexible learning opportunities and services (online and in person) to support our young people to achieve the best they can.

We acknowledge that one type of learning doesn't fit all and are keen to ensure that we have on offer a variety of options to support our young people.

We are particularly looking for views from young people who are receiving support:
📌because they are not at school for a particular reason, or
📌experiencing behaviour issues or
📌receiving bespoke support to their young person learn
We have worked closely with our Dudley Parent Carer Forum to develop these questions.

The Good Life Project have collaborated with Sycamore Adventure to bring you FREE Monthly Family Cooking Sessions starting

Monday 23rd June 2025
5.30pm till 7.00pm

In these Monthly Sessions we will show you how to make Easy, Tasty Meals for your Family with Ingredients you will most likely have at Home already and for the Fresh Ingredients you can either have a go at Growing at Home 🌱 or with us at Sycamore Adventure in our Brand New Growing Space "The Lost Gardens of Sycamore" 🍅🥔🌶

This Month we are making a British Favourite Chicken Fajitas 🌶🧅

Don't worry if you don't have any experience of Cooking you don't need it, we will teach you everything you need to be a Mini Masterchef 👨‍🍳 before you know it 🤣
