Are you interested in becoming a MHFAider?

Could your workplace benefit from having staff trained as MHFAider's to be the first sign of support for colleagues or clients?

Or have you heard about MHFA, but not too sure what the training entails and if it’s something you would like or need to do?

If so, then we could be the team for you…

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training is an evidence based first aid approach to supporting someone in a mental health related crisis, following a concise and memorable action plan to listen, support and to signpost someone effectively.

Here at Black Country Healthcare we are pleased to be able to offer a huge variety of MHFA England courses and Su***de First Aid, to cater to all individual and organisational needs.

Here is a brief overview of the courses that we provide -

Working with our commissioners at Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust to support staff and volunteers working in the VCFSE sector across the region. After completing the Youth MHFA course learners tell us:

🩷A really enjoyable course. Hearing the experiences of people around the table and from the trainers was a real strength of the course.

🩷Brilliant course which was full of information with a good balance of listening and being able to interact.

🩷I really enjoyed working with the group as there was a diverse range of experiences, knowledge and understanding

If you want to gain knowledge and confidence in common mental health conditions and understand how best to support your young people please get in touch by emailing bchft.mhfaenquiries@nhs.net and one of our team will get back to you.
