🕰️ Don’t forget — the clocks go back at 2am tonight (Sunday 26th October)! ⏰
That means we all get an extra hour in bed, but for many of our clients, the change can be a little confusing. Here are a few ways our Care Professionals will help tomorrow:
✅ Check all clocks and watches – make sure every clock in the home shows the correct time, including kitchen appliances and bedside clocks.
✅ Adjust routines gently – meal times, medication and bedtime might feel “off” for a day or two, so allow some flexibility.
✅ Keep homes bright and welcoming – with evenings getting darker earlier, good lighting helps prevent confusion and trips.
✅ Offer reassurance – a calm explanation and friendly chat about the clock change can go a long way, especially for those living with dementia.
It’s a small change, but thoughtful support makes all the difference. 💜
