As some of you may know the Priory Pharmacy Garden was previously run by the lovely Alison with help from Jacqui from St Francis Church.
Alison and Hugh have now moved Parish so therefore the Garden no longer had anybody to tend to it. After all the hard work everybody had put in and how beautiful and productive it had been for the Local Community we couldn't see it be left unloved 😔
So myself, Councillor Keiran Casey - Castle and Priory and Councillor Karl Denning stepped in to take the project forward and make it a feature in the Community again.
This is where we need you..........
We are looking for Volunteers to help us keep the Garden looking it's best myself and Keiran have made a cracking start and cleared the space so we can see what we have to work with. We want to involve Schools, Community Groups and anybody who has a passion for Gardening 🌱 and link it in with our other project Wrens Nest Millennium Green where we are also working with Wrens Nest Nature Reserve.
Come along to our Macmillan Cancer Support Coffee Morning on Saturday 30th September 10.00am till 12.00pm and see for yourself what we have been upto and have a Cuppa ☕ Cake 🍰 and a Chat
