At A & A Walters, we believe in choice; that is why we offer Direct Cremations (as heavily advertised on TV & radio). Whereas a traditional attended funeral service is best for families who wish to publicly celebrate their loved one, a Direct Cremation is designed for those who have little or no family, or who do not wish to have a funeral service.

We offer Direct Cremation through our sister company - www.littlefuneralcompany.co.uk and have a dedicated website which sets out the differences, both in terms of advantages and disadvantages, between a traditional and direct cremation service. This is something we believe that some national direct Cremation companies fail to do.

Unlike these larger national companies, we are able to offer a much more tailored service, often at a lower cost, with a far more personal level of service and care.

A little treat from the second of our Easter Memorial services this time held at St Chad’s, Coseley last night. A very special church for us personally. Thank you to all those who attended, to Fr Gary and the lovely people of St Chad's, Coseley. (delicious cakes!) and to the Ministers and Celebrants who contributed to the service. From both services we received donations in excess of £580 for Midlands Air Ambulance x

Harpist Erica Sinclair plays a beautiful solo during yesterday's Easter Service of Thanksgiving and Remembrance in Tipton Green Methodist Church. Thank you for all who attended and your generosity - we raised over £338 for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity from this event alone.

There is further limited availability at our Easter Remembrance and Thanksgiving Services next week. If you lost a loved one in 2024 and would like extra tickets to either service please let us know by Friday by calling our Tipton Branch during Office Hours.

Due to our own bereavement just before Christmas 2024 we did not hold our usual Christmas Memorial Services in December.

We have now sent out email invites to two services we will be hosting in early April. Invitations have been sent to those that lost a loved one between January 2024 and December 2024.

Closing date for responses is 31st March.

Due to the popularity of these events we must restrict attendance to two guests each and must prioritise those families who have not previously been invited. If however you would like to attend and are not in receipt of an invitation then please telephone our office from 1st April on 0121 557 1347 for late availability.

The services are scheduled for the evenings of Monday, 7th April and Thursday, 10th April.
