Netherton Park Activity Centre, is one of 4 Healthy Hubs managed by the Park Activators across the borough.

The Park Activator service is part of The Healthy Places Team within Public Health at Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (DMBC)

Our aim is to increase participation in outdoor physical activities in Dudley. We strive to tackle health inequalities, improve health and well-being as well as reduce obesity and loneliness and isolation across the borough. We deliver Health Walks, Parkfit sessions, Buggy Walks and Couch to 5K to name just a few. All of our activities are free and suitable for all ages and abilities, booking is required via Eventbrite. Please call 01384 814307 to speak to your Park Activators for more information about sessions, using the outdoor gym equipment or any other enquiries about the park. We hope to see you getting active at Netherton Park soon!

Get moving on national fitness day!
Its national fitness day on 18th September. The theme for 2024 is “your health is for life”.
The day will see sports clubs, gyms, swimming pools, leisure centres, studios, workplaces and online providers encourage people to try something new.
Being active is great for your physical, social and mental health. The healthy hub sites offer free exercise sessions for all ages and abilities and are all free to join so why not give it a try?

The National Fitness Day Activity Finder will help people find the best local activity options as well as free online content to be active anywhere.

🌟🎉 Dudley Play Week 2024 - Celebrating National Play Day! 🎉🌟

Join us for an unforgettable week of fun and adventure across five beautiful parks in Dudley borough! From Tuesday, 6th August to Saturday, 10th August, each park will host a day full of exciting activities from 12.00pm to 4.00pm. Best of all, most activities are either low-cost or completely free!
