🎉🎉Well we have some more Positive News to tell you all todayl!!! 🎉🎉

This year we are really pleased to announce that we will be holding our Family Firework Display at Sycamore Adventure that we know you all love and look forward to 😊
(This may well be the last one we are involved with so we intend to go out with a bang literally 🤣)

It will be on Monday 3rd November 2025
5.00pm till 7.00pm

Campfire
Firework Display (6.30pm)
Refreshments will be available from our Cafe

(Please Note:- Cafe will close 15 Minutes before the Firework Display to ensure nobody misses it)

Tickets will be £7.50 per Person for anybody over the Age of 1 Year Old (Includes Booking Fee)

(Babies and Under 1's are Free of Charge)

So for those of you that have supported us through these uncertain times we felt it only fair to keep you updated. A couple of Months ago now the Charity Sycamore Adventure CIO , Generation Impact CIC , Jasmine Road Community Gardens all came together to form the The Outdoor Generation Project

We put in a Proposal to take on Sycamore Adventure. We knew we didn't have masses of funds behind us like others may have but we did have the Passion, Commitment, Love and most importantly the backing of our Amazing Community.

Unfortunately today we had the very sad news that we were unsuccessful in our bid and it will now be run by Dudley Academies Trust. This is obviously heartbreaking 💔 as many of you will know Sycamore has been a massive part of my own Personal journey for 12 Years now and the last 2 years fighting to keep it open with support from Local Councillors and our MP.

We wish Dudley Academies Trust all the best for the future and hope they will hold dear the values of what Sycamore is built on and the Community it serves

We don't know what our involvement will be if any until we have spoken with the New Owners but until the Handover we are going to enjoy the final few Months with our upcoming Firework Event 🎆🎇 which we know you all love which Tickets will be on Sale Tomorrow PM along with our Breakfast with Santa 🍽 🎅

Let's give the Old Girl a Good Send off like the old days!!! 🎉🥂

The future of the “much-loved” Sycamore Adventure Centre has been secured, delighted council bosses said today.

Dudley Academies Trust has been selected as the successful bidder to take over the operation of the site on Sycamore Green following a competitive tender process.

We are so happy that Sycamore Adventure CIO 🙏 were able to collaborate with Wild Things Nature School to bring you these 2 Special "Sycamore Outdoor After Hours Club"

It is so important to us that Children get the opportunity to get outside in Nature 🌱 and just be allowed to be Children and be Free.

It looks like everyone had a Fabulous time the Tie-Dye 🌈 looks Fantastic and the Pizzas 🍕 look so Yummy 😋

We think Pineapple definitely does belong on a Pizza 🤣

We can't wait until our New Forest School Seating Area is in Next Month and we will be able to do even more Campfire Cooking Sessions 🔥 to tie in with our Collaboration with The Good Life Project and get our Younger Generation interested in where their food comes from 🫑🥦🥕🌰 and how to Grow it 🌱 and Cook it 🥘

11.00am till 1.00pm we will be joined by New Baby Network CIC who will be getting Arty 🎨and creating Rainbow Hand and Footprints of your little ones 🌈 The very Talented Emily from Magic Memories Events and Entertainment will be here for Facepainting and Sparkles ✨️ and the Fabulous Becki from Bluebell and Boo will be joining us for a Sound Bath or Meditation Session

As well as all the usual Soft Play, Water Play, Sand, Swings, Trampoline, Den Building

It's going to be Fantastic!!!!

In these Monthly Sessions we will show you how to make Easy, Tasty Meals for your Family with Ingredients you will most likely have at Home already and for the Fresh Ingredients you can either have a go at Growing at Home 🌱 or with us at Sycamore Adventure in our Brand New Growing Space "The Lost Gardens of Sycamore" 🍅🥔🌶

This Month we are making a Homemade Chicken Curry 🍛

Don't worry if you don't have any experience of Cooking you don't need it, we will teach you everything you need to be a Mini Masterchef 👨‍🍳 before you know it 🤣

Today is National Playday!!!!! So what better way than to spend it in the Parks with us at Sycamore Adventure ❤️

We will be at Mary Stevens Park Stourbridge
12pm till 4pm for Play Week 2025 and there are lots of things to see and do.

The Theme for National Playday 2025 is "Spaces for Play". This theme emphasizes the importance of accessible and inclusive spaces where children can freely play and connect with their peers.

Playday is celebrated annually on the first Wednesday of August, which in 2025 falls on August 6th. The Day celebrates Children's right to play and highlights the vital role of play in their development and well-being.

"Sycamore Outdoor After Hours Club"

Monday 4th August
Wednesday 20th August

Join us as you will have After Hours access to Sycamore when everyone else has gone home to enjoy being outside in Nature 🌱

5.30pm till 7.00pm
£5.50 per Child (Includes Booking Fee)

Suitable for Children Aged 5 - 11 Years Old

Nature Crafting, Den Building, Bug Hunting, Fire Lighting and Campfire Cooking

Snacks and Refreshments will be provided throughout the Session and we will be doing some Food over the Campfire.

There's lots of Fantastic things going on this Friday....... 😊

Not only is it Tie-Dye Week (Who doesn't love a bit of Tie-Dye ❤️)

We also have the Fabulous New Baby Network CIC with us for their 1st ever Breastfeeding Week Celebration Event at Sycamore Adventure so exciting!!!!

Our Pop Up Uniform Shop run by our Sycamore Adventure CIO where you can grab some Preloved Uniform for FREE which still has plenty of life left in it 👔

Also we will have our lovely friends from Jasmine Road Community Gardens with us with their Community Pantry Project where you can pick up some Produce 🥑🍊🥔 that would otherwise go to Landfill as Waste Produce but is still perfectly good to eat and very Tasty 😋
