Great read on different ways local people are helping others to get active across the Black Country .... including our Wellbeing - Walk and Talk Leasowes! 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️

📢 Featured in The Guardian: how Black Country communities are tackling England’s highest inactivity rates.

Across the region, local people are making a real difference!

From walking groups and bike clubs to community sport programmes, volunteers and partners are helping more people get active and feel the benefits.

As a charity, we’re proud to support community-led initiatives, build local partnerships and create more opportunities for people to move more, in ways that work for them.

A big thank you to Kelvin Gilkes (Pendeford Community Bike Hub), Tracy Tromans (Halesowen walking group), Nadia Inglis (Director of Public Health, Walsall) and Rachel Smith,
Head of Programmes – Health Improvement & Community Sport at Wolves Foundation,
for being part of this feature and championing the importance of physical activity.

👏 This is what community-led change looks like.
