Do you have an interest in fitness and love the outdoors?
You don’t need to be super fit or have previous experience. If you are enthusiastic, a good communicator and are willing to lead sessions, we would love to have you as part of our amazing team of Park Active volunteers!
Full training is provided and our 2025 dates are;

Saturday 4th and 11th October
(both required if no previous fitness qualification).

⛔ If there’s no lifeguard - don’t go in!!

With the hot weather upon us it’s so tempting to jump into open water (rivers, lakes, reservoirs).

Follow this advice to stay safe:

‼️IF THERE IS NO LIFEGUARD DONT GO IN!!‼️

With the hot weather upon us it’s so tempting to jump into open water (rivers, lakes, reservoirs). Follow this advice to stay safe:

⚠️Look out for warning signs or hidden dangers like shallow water or ledges to get stuck under
⚠️The water is still cold and the shock can be deadly
⚠️Check the depth – it can be deceptive
⚠️Don’t go alone
⚠️If there’s no lifeguard – don’t go in
⚠️If you fall in or become tired whilst you are in the water – stay calm, float on your back and call for help
⚠️Throw something that floats to somebody that has fallen in
⚠️If there is a life-threatening situation, call 999

To be held on the following dates during the School Holidays:

Sessions Available on each of these days:
LEARN TO RIDE
09:30-10:45 – 5 Spaces
11:00-12:15 – 5 Spaces
13:15-14:30 – 5 Spaces
CYCLE SKILLS/LEVEL 1
09.30 – 10.45 – 5 Spaces
11.00 – 12.15 - 5 Spaces
13.15 – 14.30 - 5 Spaces

*Minimum age 4 years

To book on to any of the above sessions please -
E mail - road.safety@dudley.gov.uk
Can you please provide your child’s: Name/Age, Course they require, Day/Time required and a Telephone contact number.

Failure to provide all details in the first instance, may delay your booking, and mean spaces are filled prior to you confirming

To ensure spaces are not wasted by none attenders, once your slot is confirmed, if none attendance does occur on the day, you will be unable to book another session going forward.
