Morning everybody ,

Happy Friday to you all.

It’s 8am and I already feel like I’m swallowing a coat hanger . I am beaming .

It’s been a lovely yet emotional week.

Both kids back to school was heart wrenching. Another year older 🥹, and now the influx of clients arranging appointments-
I am so grateful ☺️.

This absolute golden nugget has made me do a jig , tear up , and smile like a god knows
what this morning .

I have been recognised by a top Uk surgeon for referrals post surgery for my post op lymphatic care .
I’m on their map 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🤩☺️.

I love treating clients post surgery and have enough experience to recognise any issues or red flags when it comes to healing . From positive feedback to their surgeon my clients have been recommending me to him .

I’m absolutely over the moon .

I love my job

With the summer holidays coming to an end , I just wanted to advise clients to think ahead and get your bookings in .

Please use the booking system.
For non tennis club members the option is soft tissue therapy .

Just a reminder that the soft tissue therapy option covers :
Soft tissue therapy
Sports massage
Any maintenance
Deep tissue massage
Manual Lymphatic Drainage
( Pre and Post op Manual Lymphatic Drainage)
Cupping
Remedial work
Heat treatments
Rehabilitation

Saturday mornings will also still be available 08.00 - 10.30 allowing those that work through the week the chance to get a weekend appointment.

Autumn is going to be busy and heat treatments will be added in and offered to all clients which will be great as the weather starts to change and the cooler conditions creep in .

Morning everybody

I had a lovely review from a post op client the other day , I thought I’d share .

This client had a Bbl and 360 Lipo. ( big procedure )
We managed healing with lymphatic drainage because she was post op.

She has had a lovely healing journey and took on board all of the advice and aftercare I have given .

I love post op treatment as I can keep an eye on wound / scar healing it’s really something I can get my teeth into 😅- you know I love it .

I’m not a massive organisation that uses painful machinery.
I use my hands - the hands that have grown my business and give results .
If I see that treatment is no longer necessary, I’m open and honest about this . Sometimes people only need a few treatments . Sometimes they need more , everyone is different.

Post op manual lymphatic drainage is available.

Morning everyone ,
Happy Friday .

Last night I treated another new client .

She was a little nervous having treatment as Sports massage conjours an array of images in people’s minds , mainly images of therapists inflicting pain .

I thought it was great she mentioned her worries - I think it’s a huge thing , being in a therapy room I can see that a lot of people are worried to talk about how they REALLY feel .

Our conversation opened and flowed perfectly and an adapted treatment plan was put in place discussing aims short / long term goals and aftercare advice .

Whatever you do , never think that because you are asking me for lighter pressure that there isn’t going to be enough bodywork done in a session . You definitely get value from my service .

As a therapist I pride myself in being generous with my time and skills , once you are in with me that’s it - you’re taken care of and I do my best to help in all areas.

Now don’t get me wrong sometimes you need to be a little firmer in some situations where lighter techniques just won’t cut it . But the experienced therapist knows when it’s called for .

Aches and pains are normal post treatment -
Let’s not forget we are all individuals and respond differently to body work / stimuli.
Some people have no after effects post treatment , some really struggle for a few days afterwards .

This message has made my morning and I can’t wait to get to work today looking after my fantastic clients.

I’ve done it 😊😊.
Tried for 50 lengths earlier on in the week but couldn’t manage it , got to 42.

Today I said to myself I’m doing it and that’s final .
So this has just happened I did 50 👏🏼👏🏼

I feel bloody great now , I know I’ll be tired later on but that’s ok.
Not bad for someone that’s petrified of putting her face under water ( my face went nowhere near that water 😂😂🫣)
