We’re delighted to share that a generous donation of £18,497.78 from the Leukaemia Unit Appeal Fund has enabled Ward C5 to purchase a cutting-edge cryo-EBUS (endobronchial ultrasound with cryotherapy capability) machine.

This technology allows for quicker, safer, and more accurate lung cancer diagnoses — improving outcomes for patients and supporting our clinical teams.

Earlier this month, Lillie Clarke hosted a heartwarming Fundraiser Friday in support of children with diabetes — selling handmade clay models and more!

All proceeds went toward diabetes-inspired gifts, including the newly released Type 1 Diabetes Barbie, helping kids feel seen and empowered in their journey✨

A member of our children’s ward and charity team had a great day last weekend at the Shrewsbury Comic Con! A big thank you to The UK Garrison, Imperial West Midlands Squad and artist Charlie Adlard, who donated £250 raised on the day by selling autographs and head sketches.

The overall total raised was an amazing £339 and will go towards our children’s appeal, supporting our young patients while they’re in hospital💛
