🌟 New course starting soon 🌟

We're hosting a FREE acredited volunteer training course at the Alder Road centre in the autumn - as we continue to develop and host community activities from the centre we're looking to invest in and increase our volunteers, but this course is also available to anyone who volunteers anywhere in Belper (or indeed Derbyshire!) so please do share with others who may be interested. Booking required.

Our lovely Advanced Clinical Practitioner Amy recently helped to set up, run and contributed to Learning Disability Health Week. This took place at The Workshop in Derby and was a great way to meet different people, share health information, support each other to access services, and join in fun and interactive learning sessions.

At Appletree we’re passionate about reducing health inequalities, equity and access to care for everyone. For information about what reasonable adjustments we can offer to help improve access or to find out more about what different health checks and support is available – please feel free to get in touch with Bea, our Disability Champion.

✨✨New Telephone System Installation – Wednesday, 12th February 2025✨✨

We are installing a new telephone system on Wednesday, 12th February 2025. We do not anticipate any disruption, apart from a brief two-minute switchover while we transition from the old system to the new one.

✨✨New Patient Call-Back Feature✨✨
Our new system introduces a Patient Call-Back option. If more than three people are in the queue, you will be given the choice to request a call back. This means:

✅ Your place in the queue is held.
✅ The system will automatically call you back when you reach the front of the queue.
✅ No need to wait on hold, improving your experience.

✨✨Improved Surgery Efficiency✨✨
In addition to benefiting patients, this new system provides enhanced reporting and statistics, allowing us to monitor call volumes and improve our responsiveness even further.

Thank you for your patience during this upgrade. We appreciate your support in helping us enhance our services!
