I am an ethical nurse who prioritises safe and appropriate care over simply saying “yes.”
Not every client is a suitable candidate for treatment, and it is my responsibility to recognise when the answer should be “no.”

For example, just last week I had a client request dermal filler and Botox, but after assessment, it was clear these treatments were not appropriate for them. I declined to proceed—even though saying yes would have meant earning £500 from that single appointment—and instead guided them toward more suitable next steps.

I base my decisions on clinical facts and professional judgement.

In my experience, clients value and respect honesty. This role is not just about providing treatments or making money—it’s about upholding strong moral and ethical standards and always acting in the best interests of those in my care.

PSA: More blood ≠ better results. 🚩

Microneedling works through controlled micro-injuries — not aggressive trauma.

If you’re leaving your appointment with a face full of blood, the treatment is likely being performed too deeply and could increase risks like pigmentation, inflammation and scarring.

Skin treatments should look clinical and controlled… not like a horror movie.

✨ Restarting the lip journey ✨

After years of having filler elsewhere, my client came to me feeling unhappy with her lips. Over time she had lost her natural definition and there were clear signs of filler migration.

After a lot of discussion (and a little persuasion from me), we made the decision to dissolve the old filler and start fresh. It’s not always the easy choice, but sometimes it’s the best one for long-term results.

Once everything had settled, we rebuilt the lips using 1.1ml of filler, focusing on:
