Love this Clare.
And delighted that our studios with well over 60+ bolsters and chairs and hundreds of belts and blocks. 20 back benders and more! All get used often.

Yesterday I taught at Manchester and District Iyengar yoga. You know what I love most about teaching in a place like this? I can say, get two bolsters each 😆. Honestly having equipment like this makes a lot of difference sometimes. And we used the wall ropes and the really long yoga belts. Here's the quick sketch of what we did. In the class we imagined possibilities of recreating some of these methods in your own home without wall ropes or yoga chairs. It's all possible! I love that imaginations were fired up, including mine by questions. I love a supported purvottanasana with the bolster being wedged in by the elbows over a chair, it literally breathes hope back into me. (As do great questions)
"it is possible to awaken the hidden latent energy through yoga for reconstruction and recuperation" BKS Iyengar.
Enjoy.
