Back-to-school season is upon us, but we know that eye health can often get overlooked with the excitement of preparing for a new academic year.

This is why we’re encouraging parents and carers to take their children to have a sight test before school starts with our campaign.

Apologies for any inconvenience, we will be closing today 3rd of July from 1.30pm as our electricity supply is temporarily unavailable. This is a matter out of our control in the block of terraces on King Street. We will be open again tomorrow at 9am.

We are open as normal in the week leading up to Christmas, although closing at 5pm on Friday the 22nd.
We will be open again on Thursday 28th 10am-4pm and Friday 29th 9am-5pm.
If you need contact lenses for the Christmas period please ensure you have ordered them by 3pm on Monday 18th December. 🎄

Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances we will be closed on Friday the 21st of July, Friday the 28th of June and Monday the 31st of July. If you have glasses or contact lenses to collect please contact the practice to arrange a suitable time.

Have you heard of Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT)? It's an amazing non-invasive imaging technique that allows us to diagnose and monitor eye diseases like glaucoma and macular degeneration.

What's great about OCT is that it's painless, quick, and doesn't require any injections or dyes. It uses light waves to create detailed images of the tissues, to catch problems early.
