We are currently experiencing a network outage that is affecting our clinical systems, including access to medical records, prescriptions, and appointments.

Our IT team is working urgently to resolve the issue, and we will keep you updated as soon as services are restored.

Oesophageal Cancer (“Don’t Ignore the Burn”)

🔥 Heartburn that won’t quit?

If you’re a man over 55 and have had heartburn or indigestion for 3 weeks or more, speak to your GP. It could be a sign of something serious like oesophageal cancer.

✅ Early action makes a difference.

🚨 Phone Scam Alert – Please Be Aware! 🚨

We’ve been informed by a local GP practice that a patient recently received a suspicious phone call from someone pretending to be a medical professional.

The caller claimed to be a “senior health advisor” working with the practice. They asked about the patient’s health history and ongoing medical issues to build trust. Later, they offered medication for sale and asked for bank details to take payment.

📞 The number used was 01900 516 559, which has been linked in the past to scams involving fake accident insurance calls.

❗️Please remember:
✅ NHS and GP staff will never ask for your bank details over the phone.
✅ If you’re unsure whether a call is genuine, hang up and call your GP practice directly.
✅ Never share personal or financial information with unexpected callers.

Stay safe and help spread the word – especially to friends and family who may be more vulnerable to these kinds of scams.
