Tameside Trusted Hands is a bespoke 'Home Support Service' owned by a trained Nurse and previous long term employee of Tameside MBC 'Health & Wellbeing Service'. Tameside Trusted Hands offers honest, affordable, caring and genuine support to enable individuals' to live independently and happily within

their own homes. Whether you require support with household tasks or taking to a social group or medical appointment, Tameside Trusted Hands can tailor make a support plan just for you! Services offered:

Tameside Trusted Hands are able to offer the following services:
- General house cleaning
- Shopping (food and leisure)
- Laundry
- Ironing (free collect and return service)
- Changing bedding / curtains
- Support with making appointments
- Taking to / from appointments
- Taking to / from social groups
- Sitting and support
- Meal preparation
- Taking out the rubbish
- General errands
- Assisting caring for pets

Hello, my name is Lyndsey Sigley and I am married with 3 children. I am the owner of Tameside Trusted Hands which is based in Dukinfield, Cheshire. Before starting my business I qualified as a Paediatric Nurse at Salford University gaining extensive work experience on hospital wards, in theatre, schools and community settings. I have ran the service very successfully for 5 years and for 6 ½ years prior to that I worked as a Wellbeing Advisor for Tameside MBC’s Health & Wellbeing Service / Carer’s Centre (so may be a familiar face to many of you)! During this role I assessed the health and social care needs of vulnerable adults and carers whilst providing excellent information and advice on suitable services that would make that individual’s life easier. I have years of first hand personal experience of caring for a close relative with Early Onset Alzheimer’s Disease therefore feel extremely passionate about improving service provision for people in similar situations. After experiencing first hand that there was a need for excellent support services that offered a wide range of help and assistance, this spurred me on to take the plunge and leave my job to move into the exciting world of owning and running my own business whilst making a massive difference and having a positive impact on the lives of Tameside residents.
