⭐️UK Coaching Member Yoga and Pilates with Eileen, previously Pilates for Life, was founded in 2009 by Pilates Instructor Eileen Hill, having attained qualifications in Health and Fitness Leadership from The University of Strathclyde and Future Fit. In 2021 Eileen attained Yoga instructor level and she saw benefits of sharing her experience in the community. Initially working with small groups delivering mat based Pilates and Eileen quickly established herself with local health professionals who referred their clients for rehabilitation. Eileen grew the business before relocating in 2015 to Dubai where she used her professional expertise to ensure her clients felt relaxed in a professional atmosphere and the emphasis was on their needs through her personal approach

Having left the corporate world in '23 her focus is on promoting health and the delivery of health and wellbeing events.

Lovely relaxing yoga followed by guided meditation.

Yoga
✨️ Ignite Fitness
6-6.50 pm Wednesday
A slower paced hatha yoga class.

Both Pilates and Yoga improve body awareness and overall wellbeing and are suitable for all levels

It's open to anyone to take part, weight can be adapted to suit all abilities (10kg min). You can set your own target.

Cost £5 to enter and a fund raising target £100 per person.

Most breast lumps are not cancerous. Those that are, can be more effectively treated if identified early.

🌟 Fitness Professionals & Midlife Warriors – Let’s Talk Perimenopause! 🌟

Did you know the average age for entering perimenopause is 45 — but for some women, the signs can begin even earlier?

Yet so many of us are caught off guard. We think, “That won’t happen to me… at least not yet.” Or we chalk up the changes to stress, ageing, or just “life.” But being aware and prepared can make all the difference — for ourselves and for the clients we support.

🌀 Perimenopause is the transitional phase before menopause, and it comes with a variety of physical and emotional symptoms — many of which are often overlooked or misunderstood.

Here are some early signs and symptoms to watch for:

1️⃣ Irregular Periods & Cycle Changes

Periods may become heavier or lighter, closer together or farther apart — or disappear altogether for a time.

2️⃣ Sleep Disturbances

Trouble falling or staying asleep, waking up too early, or feeling unrested despite sleeping.

3️⃣ Mood Changes

Increased anxiety, irritability, or low mood that feels different from your usual emotional patterns.

4️⃣ Hot Flushes & Night Sweats

Sudden waves of heat, sweating, or flushed skin — during the day or waking you up at night.

5️⃣ Other Sneaky Signs
✅ Vaginal dryness or discomfort
✅ Decreased libido
✅ Brain fog or forgetfulness
✅ Joint or muscle aches
✅ Weight gain, especially around the middle
✅ Thinning hair or dry skin
✅ More frequent UTIs or changes in urinary patterns

Our Story

Pilates for Life was founded in 2009 by Pilates Instructor Eileen Hill, having attained qualifications in Health and Fitness Leadership from The University of Strathclyde and Future Fit. Initially working with small groups delivering mat based Pilates Eileen quickly established herself with local health professionals who referred their clients for rehabilitation and home visits. Eileen grew the business in Glasgow delivering local classes along with sessions for Scottish Government employees in the UK before relocating in 2015 to Dubai where she uses her professional expertise to ensure her clients feel relaxed in a professional atmosphere and the emphasis is on their needs.

Returning to Glasgow in 2020 Eileen is confident she can bring a fresh perspective to your sessions
