Direction matters more than speed.

In a world where we all want it yesterday - always remember that progress is progress.

Sometimes we think our progress is slow and you feel like it should be happening quicker.

The risk here is turning to drastic approaches that can mess things up for you in the long run.

Or self sabotaging and giving up even though you were on the right path

If you are moving forward then that MUST be acknowledged

One thing to stop focusing on.....

💞Daily changes💕

Things will fluctuate on a daily basis.

- Scale weight
- How you feel
- Your workout performance
- How much sleep you get

Etc etc

Placing too much emphasis on daily fluctuations can be a real problem.

You can achieve a hell of a lot over the next few months.

You’ll still experience daily fluctuations in these sorts of things during that time.

🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷It’s the trend over weeks / months that is far more important🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷

One of many reasons people struggle to stay consistent is obsessively looking to see signs of progress over a single day.

Maybe this sounds familiar:

- You have a “why am I not there yet” mentality rather than asking a better question like “how well am I progressing overall”.

- You step on the scales expecting them to go down every single time.

- You are constantly checking the mirror expecting to see a difference each day.

- You make changes to your approach purely based on how you feel rather than measuring progress trends and adjusting things when necessary.

- You are more likely to turn to drastic measures to try and get to where you want to be.

- You constantly feel like you should be doing more and get frustrated if there aren’t big daily changes

💕 focus on the PROCESS each day while tracking progress over time.

💞Sometimes simple reassurance is all thats required
