Don't go wasting money on collagen supplements.
The advertisers gloss it all up but essentially collagen supplements come from boiled up cow bones and skin.
You can make your own bone broth which is cheap and full of collagen.
Get a knuckle bone from the butcher, Boil/simmer it for a few hours in water.
You can let it cool and re boil a few times.
Add some veg and some vinegar which helps remove nutrients from the bones.
Strain it and leave it to cool. If it's done sufficiently it will form a thick jelly.
This can be stored in the fridge or frozen.
It can then be used to make nutritious soups and stews

Wellness Centre Dumfries

I am often asked by my patients how and why I became an acupuncturist ?

This is a letter I wrote to my college when I could not make it to the 30th anniversary celebrations that took place a couple of years ago.....

Northern College of Acupuncture changed my life, I would like to thank the wonderful inspirational teachers that I trained with. I am one of the first graduates and I am still working in Acupuncture and CHM and about to launch my new wellness centre after an amazing 24 years in practice
