I practice Traditional Chinese Medicine which includes the use of Acupuncture ,Chinese Herbs and Acupressure.I also trained in Equine Muscle Release Therapy and NST(advanced ) Bowen Therapy .I tained with Omega Lasers in the British School of Racing in Newmarket
I have continually updated my CPD by attending courses with specialists such as Dr Deb Bennet , Dr Kerry Ridgeway and Amy Snow

udied enery work with James Shaw. I am very keen on training horses correctly useing Classical Techniques and have ridden with clinicians including Jane Bartle, Susan Hoffman Peacock,Joney Bentley Paul Belasik, Peter De Cosemo, Francisco de Braganca and Francisco de Silva. I am looking forward to working with Mary Wanless this year and I have also been studying Equine Science / psychology and training with Ben Hart (on line). Acupressure is a safe and effective way of helping to balance your horses energy.
This point is Jian Jing ( GB21).
The name translates as " Shoulder Well" the name means that it us a rich gathering point for Qi.
This point relaxes tight , painful muscles in the neck, chest, back and helps to free up tight shoulders.
It also has a deeply relaxing effect

So many riders do not consider the thoracic sling.
It's important to condition the pectorals and serratus vetralis muscles.
The horse must stabilise through the logissimis dorsi , nucal ligament and abs amongst other groups to allow the horse to lift the withers useing the thoracic sling.
Thus carrying the rider and allowing free movement of the forehand.

This horse had minor surgery to remove sarcoids at the stifle.
The Tensor Fascia Lata which is a huge sheet of fascia had been affected either by the sarcoids or the surgery or both.This reaction occurred at move 3 which is right across the TFL.
He's now moving much more freely
