Yesterday afternoon we were joined by singer Gareth Dick, Music is unique in the way it brings people together sparks connections and brings forth memories. We had a lovely afternoon reminiscing our favourite songs and making new memories with our friends and families.
We look forward to seeing Gareth again next month

It’s that fantastic time of year where our garden club can really get out into the garden so much more. Today we had a walk around to check our planters we have been making steady progress weeding them and adding plants, and topping up the compost. After our walk we did some weeding for 30 mins then our lettuces and spring onions got transplanted into containers, our herbs are coming along nicely and we have lots of pots ready to be planted. This week our Company Gardener came down to help us plan some new projects and will be helping us with a few projects the first was to start with bark chips in our courtyard garden as voted for at our last residents meeting.

This morning myself and a few resident helpers made some Easter nests unfortunately we had so much fun I forgot to take pictures of the finished easter nests, Big Thanks to Susan in the kitchen for melting our chocolate for us! They went down rather well this afternoon With a cup of tea.

Don’t forget it’s our community cafe this Friday as part of our ongoing BHappie Bconnected keeping us connected to our communities all welcome to join us for a cuppa and a chat. The BHappie community cafe is run by donations to cover the costs.

On Tuesday we were joined by drumming group Africadabra who came along and did an interactive drumming session with us. Our residents joined in with drums and other instruments there was foot tally hand clapping and moving to the beat. We’d just like to say a big Thankyou to the group and our volunteers friends and families who joined us to make new memories and recall old memories and special people.
