Hello, some of you may have heard about large-scale protests taking place across the UK at 6pm every evening the last week or so, including outside Downing Street, to protest the ongoing intentional starving of Palestinians by Israel in Gaza. It involves banging an empty pot with a wooden spoon to highlight and protest the situation. It’s been called for by a number of prominent Palestinians and is being promoted by Mothers Against Genocode Scotland, amongst others.
A group of us would like to start doing this regularly. *Please join us outside the Dunbar Town House Museum and Gallery on Dunbar High Street just before 6pm on Friday 1st August with an empty pot and spoon to join this protest. * It won’t take long.
This is a tiny way to do something positive about this dreadful situation and let the people of Gaza know that we see them and have heard their request. Please don’t feel anxious about attending. This is a very specific, peaceful, lawful, family-friendly protest about a very specific issue. Please feel free to bring a banner or sign. We’ll be bringing kids. If anyone is concerned about attending a protest, we’re happy to talk you through why it’s lawful.
Please spread the word. It would be great to get lots of us out again, after a great turn out last Thursday.

Solstice greetings. First pic was taken in the height of Summer a few years back 🌻
I wanted to pop on here to share about my yoga practice these days... When
we’re out and about and Bub naps in the buggy, getting a chance to move or stretch feels like a bonus. But most of my practices happen at home —out the front of the house, in the garden, or in the living room. Often squeezed into the quiet moments when Kobe naps. The phone stays far away so I can actually drop in—even if it’s just for a few breaths, a gentle stretch, or a short yoga nidra.
Lately, I’ve been really prioritizing that time—trying to land in practice at least five times a week. It doesn’t always happen, but it makes such a difference when it does.
Something’s been gently stirring in me lately… the idea of sharing yoga again. It’s been almost two years since ive held a group class and I’m feeling the pull to offer something simple—ways to reconnect, to come into presence. Maybe even some outdoor classes mid-summer 🌿
If that would resonate with you, I’d love to hear ✌️
May the long time sun shine upon you, all love surround you and the pure light within you guide your way home 🙏🏽

Hello hello 👋 I think alot has changed on here since I've been present to social media... I've had the privalage of being off work just over a year, with support. I think a chapter on Motherhood is for another post but some photos give a flavour of my year.
I've not had to think of ways to reach peeps regarding my own work and not much time to share my passions. Alot has been stirring and igniting inside of me in this time... a bubbling of purpose and calling has arisen. I've been waiting for the right time to initiate an offering and still waiting really for the inner YES as I return shortly to my other part-time role.
Capacity to do anything extra extra with a bub has felt quiet hard so i've been listening to that.
In these early years of Kobes life I'd like to spend as much time with him if I can.
At the end of 2024 I embarked on a course I've been longing to do for a few years with on her Well Woman yoga Therapy course. With these extra teachings it's a dream of mine to start a moon synced class new and full moons to share some of Umas practices.
My wish would be a 90 minute session, starting with REST as we enter the space with a yoga nidra, a circle check-in sharing followed by a series of movements that you can take away a have a daily practice with, ending differently each week with a chant, breath practice or both 💖
Another wish is to share Menstrual cycle Awareness with girls. In the form of a monthly circle... Mothers and daughters welcome.
PM me to let me know if either of these sound of interest to you.

Today marks the end of my 4th trimester, which also marks my baby boy being 3 months old. He was born on the 4th of January at 4.44am. What a honoring of sacredness this time has been, this time of all is new, moving slowly, asking for help, pure love, allowing, recieving not forgetting the tears and messiness. I'd love to share more on this period of my life when the words flow. I'd also love to share my birth story in time too. I am here smiling ear to ear thinking about how Kobe came into the world so peacefully in our living room in the birth pool in the dark with a few candles on and a beautiful instrument playing by . In the end it was me, Davide and Daisy present at the birth to greet Kobe on his arrival. I am in awe of the female body, how it grows life and births babies.

My yoga journey started when I was very little... I used to run around the house chasing my brother as my Dad was in the middle of the kitchen doing a headstand. When there was chaos in the house he was sat there on his Zen cushion meditating with crystals close by. Always adding a sense of calm to the mist.
In 2011 I started to practice yoga in another chaotic time of life ...living in a city ! I was seeking peace and balance and yoga found its way back to me. I explored the Asana side of Yoga first, enjoying connecting the breath to the movement. I remember cracking ujjayi breath and feeling overjoyed. To have been able to use this ocean breath on the early morning underground commute was a winner for me.
Another part of Yoga that took me by surprise but I totally fell in love with was the chanting and Mantras side. I spend some beautiful months on a Ashram in Ecuador on the outskirts of the amazon rainforest. My days on the Ashram were equally blissful and painful. Slowly I started to peel away layers that no longer belonged to me. The more I connected to nature the closer I came to touching the real me. Our days consisted of an early 4am rise followed by chanting and meditation then yoga Asana, happily followed by a huge yummy breakfast. Mid morning we would all get on with different jobs often physical which brought on a appetite for lunch. In the afternoon we had a choice of sitting in nature or learning a new skill sharing or preparing dinner. Evenings were always chilled and early bed time. I can close my eyes and still vividly remember drinking hot chocolate (cacao beans straight from the trees in the garden ) and looking up at the big starry sky and feeling so blessed to be a part of this existence.
Each time I steer to far from nature and start to un-ground I know exactly how to come back again and ground myself, a walk in the forest or dipping my feet in the sea, looking up at the moon, watching the birds and the bees do their thing. Connecting to all that is.. all that we are part of.... nature. Connecting to the breath - our energy life force, pranayama. From then my practice with yoga started to deepen.
I found home on my yoga mat while living and working in different countries this was always a place to ground, restore and re-balance.
2017 ... 6 years later while travelling to a mesmerising part of the globe I was offered a chance to take a Yoga teacher training course ! I was invited to learn about YOGA deeper. All the different parts of yoga the union that I had explored individually in parts. It was time to put them all together. The mindfulness way of life, the Asana, the meditation, the chanting and the deep philosophy that comes with it.
I was ready so I said YES, and so the story continues ....
Life is really precious and time on this earth is short, I would love to share a part of myself with you and hope that we connect soon . L x
