My first full week of clinic for 2026 is complete, and it’s already clear how things are continuing to evolve.

Anti-wrinkle treatments remain my most popular treatments and I don’t think this will be changing in the near future. Equally, nothing replaces the role of dermal fillers - they remain essential for restoring and supporting volume where it’s genuinely needed.

What’s particularly exciting is how these treatments are now being complemented & the results are being further enhanced by collagen-stimulating and regenerative approaches. Treatments such as Radiesse®, Sculptra®, Radiofrequency Microneedling and HIFU work by stimulating your own collagen production at different depths, strengthening the skin’s framework & improving long-term skin health & quality over time. Alongside these, polynucleotides and exosome-based therapies are gaining momentum - focusing on skin repair, cellular signalling and overall skin health from a biological level.

It’s a bit mind-blowing - once you stimulate collagen, you will always end up with more collagen than you would have had otherwise. When treatments are combined, we’re able to stimulate collagen even more effectively in different ways. This is where aesthetics is heading: towards improving long-term skin health & quality & delivering fantastic natural results.

As I close the door on another year at the clinic, I’ve taken a moment to reflect - and honestly, I never would have envisaged that just a few short years ago I’d be sitting here with my own clinic, doing a job I absolutely love, surrounded by the most supportive community.

To every patient who trusted me, every follower who cheered me on, my family and friends who supported me endlessly (often behind the scenes), and everyone who has played a part in the growth of my little business - I am so incredibly grateful.

2025 has been full of learning, growth, challenges, wins, and so many lovely moments in clinic. I feel very lucky to do what I do, and even luckier to share it with such wonderful people.

When someone travels 280 miles for a consultation, care and treatment I never take that for granted.

I’m very lucky to treat many patients who travel a fair distance to see me. Just last weekend I welcomed my furthest-travelled patient yet, visiting all the way from Orkney. Moments like that truly remind me how meaningful trust is in medical aesthetics.

Losing weight is amazing for your health and confidence… but sometimes it can leave the face looking a little more tired, gaunt or hollow than you’d like. That’s because when we lose body fat, we also lose volume in the mid-face - particularly from the fat pads that keep the cheeks lifted and youthful.

This lovely patient had started noticing these changes, so we carried out a full facial assessment and made a plan to replace some of the volume where it had been lost. With carefully and strategically placed cheek filler, we restored softness, lift and structure - keeping everything looking natural and beautifully balanced.
