One of the most common mistakes I see is treating the lower face first, without looking at the areas higher up in the face.

As we age, the structure of the face changes and support is gradually lost. This can lead to heaviness around the mouth, deeper smile lines, and early jowling.

It can be tempting to treat these areas directly. But often, the cause of these changes actually starts higher up in the face.

When we restore support in areas such as the cheeks or temples - where the volume has been lost - we can often improve the lower face indirectly, without needing to add as much product lower down.

This is why a thorough consultation and assessing the face as a whole is so important. The goal is always to achieve natural results - helping you look fresher, not “done.” 💜

Cheek filler is one of those treatments that can make a beautiful difference while still looking completely natural.

As we age, the mid-face naturally loses support, which can contribute to a slightly tired or heavier appearance. By carefully restoring this structure in the cheeks, we can lift and refresh the whole face. Treatment of those pesky perioral lines - subtle, precise and beautifully natural.

This lady has naturally thin lips and found that simply bringing her lips together made her upper lip lines more noticeable. That small movement made her very aware of the area.

By adding gentle definition to the lip border and carefully softening the lines, we restored structure and support - helping her feel more confident and comfortable.

The lower face is one of the most common areas patients ask about - but also one of the most complex.

When you attend your first appointment with me, my role is not simply to treat, but to guide and educate you on your options. Jowling never has one single cause. It usually develops due to a combination of volume loss, ligament laxity, skin quality changes and tissue descent over time.

Because of this, it is almost never a “one and done” treatment.

Combination treatments work best because the causes are multifactorial, so to get the best results, a full face assessment is required & we need to address each contributing factor. Volume loss may require carefully placed filler, while skin laxity is improved through collagen stimulation - either with powerful injectable collagen stimulators or energy-based treatments. I use the Lynton Laser Focus Dual machine which combines two of the most powerful clinically proven technologies in aesthetic medicine - HIFU and radiofrequency microneedling - to tighten and strengthen the skin. Restoring structure and definition throughout the jawline and chin also helps support the lower face overall.
