Gi Pilates I teach matwork Pilates as well as specialist classes in prenatal and postnatal pregnancy, based in Comrie, Perthshire. Gi Pilates teaches Body Control Pilates.

I turned to my friend today and asked when I became so obsessed by bright pink and she laughed, because apparently that’s me. I always thought I was neutrals and blues. Self perception is a crazy thing. But I also understand the importance of having so many different aspects to each human that shoving myself into a one-colour pigeon hole is a bit ridiculous when the spectrum is fantastic.

Winter wellness looks a little different for everyone - some swear by ice dipping, others by winter coffee flavours (I personally believe in both).
Add a cosy jumper, a bit of Pilates and a deep breath before the next festive whirlwind and you’ve got the perfect recipe for balance.
Move when you can, rest when you need and remember: calm is contagious. ✨

That’s six weeks between us and mince pies, stretchy pants (the other kind) and a well-earned rest.

There’s something magical about this time of year - the light, the air, the quiet.
Autumn has a way of inviting us to slow down, reconnect and find strength in softness.
So take that walk, play in the leaves and let your body move however it needs to this weekend.

Even the simplest moves can wake up your core.

It looks simple, but holding still here challenges balance, stability and strength.
It’s not about how “hard” it feels, but how steady you can stay.

A little wobble? Totally normal. That’s your muscles learning, adjusting and getting stronger
Pilates doesn’t always need to be fancy, sometimes it’s just you, your mat and gravity doing its magic.
