What do your cupping marks mean? ✨

Cupping marks are temporary, bruise-like, circular discolourations ranging from light pink to dark purple left on the skin after suction therapy.

They indicate improved circulation, the release of toxins and muscular tension, and, in traditional Chinese medicine, the movement of Qi (energy).
The darker the mark, the higher the level of underlying stagnation.

They are not painful bruises from impact, but rather a therapeutic response where blood is drawn to the surface to address muscle tension or energy blockages.
