The Power Outage has been resolved (again). Thanks for your patience and understanding during these issues which are out with our control. The power has cut twice in the space of an hour. We are not expecting any further issues.

URGENT! We are currently dealing with a power cut in our street. We are doing everything we can to rectify the issue. At the moment we are without phone lines or electricity to assist you. We will advise once things are back up and running.

UPDATE: Our systems are back up and running for the time being. We would like to thank all patients for their patience and co-operation.
We are currently experiencing NHS Tayside IT issues. We cannot access any of our systems. We are working with NHS Tayside to fix this issue.

GP Practices throughout Tayside are committed to providing patients with the highest quality care. They participate in a number of Protected Learning Time (PLT) sessions throughout the year which allows them to provide access to training for the whole practice team.

Most GP Practices throughout Tayside will be closed for routine appointments between 1-6pm on Wednesday 26 November to take part in PLT sessions.
Please be assured, access to urgent care for patients will continue throughout this time.

During those hours on Wednesday 26 November, GP practices will continue to be contactable by phone to access urgent care which cannot wait until the practice reopens the following morning or to make any future appointments or medication requests.

GP surgeries will resume their usual working hours again on Thursday 27 November.

The practice will be closed from 1pm - 6pm on Wednesday 26th November 2025 for Protected Learning time. If you require URGENT medical advice during this time, a member of the Reception Team will take your details and pass them on to the Out of Hours Service. The practice will re-open as normal on Thursday 27th November. In the event of an emergency, please call 999.

You might already have noticed changes when contacting your GP practice for an appointment. Depending on your needs, you may be seen by a member of the newly expanded GP team, such as a pharmacist or physiotherapist, or a nurse.
