Literacies Dundee We are a team of adult learning workers offering support with reading, writing, numbers and computing

We are a team of adult learning workers who support anyone who isn't confident about handling some of the communication issues that everyday life can throw at us. This can mean there are worries about using and understanding numbers, working with computers and mobiles, listening and following what someone else is saying and feeling under pressure when reading or writing. You let us know what you feel your issues are and we will work with you to find some solutions. It's free, as confidential as you need it to be and we'll try our best to meet at a place and time that suits you.

NEW SCHEDULE FOR DROP IN SUPPORT AND FOODBANK REFERRALS @ the MAXwell Centre!!!

Please note we're changing the times a support worker will be available for drop in referrals to the foodbank and support with basic form filling.

RACHEL - available on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday between 1:30pm and 3:30pm for food bank referrals and support.

HOUSING OPTIONS - If you need help with advice surrounding housing issues, we have a drop-in session every Tuesday between 1pm and 4pm.

CONNECT - If you need help with MONEY AND BENEFITS advice, we have a drop in session with CONNECT every Tuesday between 1:30pm and 4:00pm.

SOCIAL SECURITY SCOTLAND are available to come to the centre for pre-booked appointments on Mondays. If you would like to book an appointment with them, please call directly to book @ 0800 182 2222.

IMPORTANT UPDATE:

Our venue has changed for the next four sessions (1st of August to the 22nd of August) to Arthurstone Library.

This means we will be open again from this Friday at Arthurstone Library
