18 years ago today, my whole world changed forever. Evan, you’ve filled my life with love, reflection, and growth, and I’ve been blessed to watching you transform into an incredible human.

Being a 21-year-old single mum, I had to find drive and determination to build a future for you. It hasn’t always been an easy journey, a bit of a rollercoaster really— filled with highs, lows, and everything in between.

It’s not been 18 perfect years, and I haven’t always been a perfect mum, but I am so incredibly proud of the person you’ve become. You’ve brought me so much joy, purpose, and strength. I truly wouldn’t be the person I am today without you.

We literally grew up together learning so much from each other every day but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I learned quickly that the further I was prepared to pull back the arrow the further we would fly.

18 whole years together, how can this possibly be!!! Through the thickest of thick and the thinnest of thin.
