When blood circulation is slow or impaired, too little oxygen reaches a given area of the body, cleansing is impaired, and too many metabolic products accumulate. After sucking such an area, traces of varying intensity and colour are created. The formation of these traces is information for the therapist about the health of individual areas or organs in the body. These marks are characterized by different colours and intensity:
- a shade of slight hyperemia and redness indicates health,
- shades of purple to black indicate a large stagnation of blood flow but also the accumulation of toxins and a large inflammation (it should be remembered that the skin area always correlates with an internal organ, which is why it is possible to determine stagnation and damage in the organ that correlates with a given skin area)
Watery bubbles formed after cupping indicate that too much pathological moisture is accumulating in the body, water is being retained, it blocks proper circulation and nourishment of tissues,
- pale colour without even a temporary redness indicates a large weakening of the client and a deficiency of blood and energy
