A message from Esra ~

Hi lovely humans of Nomad ❤️

I’m so excited to invite you to a new Sunday evening offering, a class to help you reset and relax, let go of the weekend, and move into the new week refreshed.

The class is structured in three parts, giving each practice its own space.

We begin with 25 minutes of yang, a progressive practice that builds warmth in the body, releases stiffness, and gets energy moving.

Then we slow things down with 25 minutes of yin, using blocks and bolsters to support longer-held shapes. Yin allows the deeper layers of the body to soften while giving the nervous system time to settle.

To end the class, I will guide you through yoga nidra; a guided meditation that induces deep relaxation and a reset for the nervous system.

In this deeply restful state we plant an intention, allowing it to land in the subconscious and gradually shape how we respond to everyday life.

It feels quite special to be able to offer this weekly opportunity to slow down, reset, and reconnect.

4-Week Beginners Yoga Course with Quinn

This course is for you if you’ve never done yoga before, or if it’s been years and you’re starting again. And if you’ve ever thought “I should really try yoga one day”, or assumed you’re not “flexible enough” or “the yoga type”, this is exactly where to begin.

It’s one of our most-requested courses, and how many people take their very first steps into yoga at Nomad.

ABOUT THE COURSE ⤵

We devised this foundation course for anyone looking for a genuinely accessible, thorough introduction to yoga, or as a refresher before returning to regular practice.

Across four weeks you’ll explore the fundamentals of a balanced yoga practice: postures, breathwork, meditation and relaxation, guided step-by-step in a supportive small-group environment.

Each class will focus on foundational elements of yoga practice, learning how to access stillness, build strength, and move with more awareness in the body.

In this series, students will explore:

– Breath techniques and meditation
- Skeletal alignment for foundational postures- Sun salutations
- Breath-to-movement flow
- Modifications and use of props to support your practice

With a small group size, you’ll receive individual attention and have space to ask questions as you learn.

Our intention is that by the end of the course you’ll feel comfortable with the core yoga postures, and have experienced the calming and centering benefits of breathwork, relaxation and meditation.

All are welcome.

We’re so happy to welcome Erine to Nomad next Tuesday!

A note from Erine 📝

Hi, I’m Erine Mikaella (some may know me by the name Angel)! I’m a Pilates instructor with a background in nursing, and I love helping people feel stronger, healthier, and more confident in their bodies.

My nursing experience has given me a solid understanding of how the body works and heals, and I bring that knowledge into every class I teach. Whether you’re brand new to Pilates, working through an injury, wanting a good burn, or just looking for a fun way to move — I’ll meet you where you are and create a safe, supportive space for you to grow.

For me, Pilates isn’t just about exercise. It’s about moving with intention, improving , and finding joy in what your body can do. Through Pilates I want to help everyone feel supported, aligned and empowered.

When I’m not in the studio, you can usually find me going to cute coffee shops, exploring and spending time with friends and family.

Hot Power Flow is coming. Starting 10th March, Joe brings a strong, steady practice to your Tuesday evenings. This class is for building your strength and stamina, while helping you access some of the more challenging poses in yoga.

Expect layered sequences and an exploration of more advanced postures to develop your core and upper body strength. Developing strength in the body will bring you more energy and confidence in all areas of your life.

This slow, supportive class is designed to help you build strong foundations, move with more ease, and feel confident on your mat.

Clear guidance and plenty of options. This practice is open to EVERYONE. You can be completely new to yoga or returning to the basics.

The first class takes place this Monday at 7pm.

Each class will focus on foundational elements, origin and traditions of yoga practise, how to access stillness and awaken inner strength with increased capacity for focus in yoga postures as well as how to implement yoga into our every day lives.⁠

In this series, students will explore:⁠

– Breath techniques and meditation⁠
– Skeletal alignment for foundational postures⁠
– Sun salutations⁠
– Breath to movement flow⁠
– Modifications and use of props to safely support your unique practice⁠

In this small-group setting, you will receive individual attention and have plenty of opportunity to ask questions and examine many aspects of this ancient practise.⁠

At the end of the course our intention is that you will have practiced the core yoga postures whilst having experienced the calming, centering benefits of other pivotal aspects of yoga such as guided relaxation and meditation. ⁠

All are welcomed.⁠

Wear comfortable clothes you can move in. Bring a bottle of water if you’d like.
