Your local IBMS branch is looking to recruit new members with a desire to improve and increase CPD opportunities within Tayside. Please see the attached poster or email for more information.

If you can spare a few hours every other month to attend meetings and events, and would like to be involved in bringing more new and relevant CPD opportunities to support yourself and others develop within and beyond your current scope of practice, then get involved with your local branch.

Our goal is to bring as many CPD and funding opportunities to our members, however we need more volunteers in order to do this.

CPD is a requirement for any registered individual working within the Biomedical Science field and can support you in your current role and future career progression, by becoming a member of your local branch and attending meetings and events you will be able to add professional activities to your CPD portfolio, as well as attend role specific or non-specific CPD sessions throughout the year. Supporting you in developing and meeting your HCPC requirements. Getting involved with your local branch also affords the opportunity to network with other likeminded individuals from other departments and area of practice, in which you can learn from.

The branch cannot run without the engagement from its members, and we require a strong and diverse team to bring as much variety to the sessions we can offer.

If you would like to get involved, we would love to hear from you!

Please also feel free to share this email with other colleagues with whom it will apply.
