We’re looking for a Child Contact Centre Manager to join our friendly, dedicated team at Relationships Scotland Tayside and Fife.

Based in Dundee, this role oversees five Centres across Tayside and Fife, helping to deliver safe, supportive, high-quality services for children and families. You’ll work closely with Family Courts, and Social Work and other children’s services, ensuring children’s voices are heard and rights respected during challenging family times.

You’ll be part of a small (but mighty) management team, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, and playing a vital role in leading staff who work to make a real difference every day.

What we offer:

Are you free on Saturdays, to earn some money in a rewarding role, whether you are studying, in between jobs, caring for someone, or in part-time or full-time employment?

We are looking to recruit sessional Centre Organisers to work in our Children’s Contact Centres in Arbroath, Dundee and Perth, on Saturdays. (In Dundee we would welcome additional availability on Thursdays, too.) Full training will be provided and we will cover the cost of the appropriate PVG scheme application or update.

If you have worked with children, young people and families in any capacity (ELC, primary schools, sports and extracurricular activities, safeguarding, social work, family law etc.), or are studying to work in these fields, we are keen to hear from you. We are ambitious about diversity and inclusion. If you have the right skills for the role, we want to hear from you. The application is to undertake the course, which the Service will cover the cost of, as well as associated, reasonable costs (e.g. travel). On completion of the course (from accreditation stage), we offer ongoing, sessional work opportunities to our mediators.

The deadline to submit applications is 9am on Friday 06 June 2025, however we reserve the right to close our recruitment early as soon as a sufficient number of suitable applications has been received. Interviews will be held on Monday 16 June 2025 but we can offer some flexibility if this were not suitable.

!!!The wait is over!!!
Over the last few weeks, Vital Energi and Calforth Construction Ltd worked tirelessly to complete an exciting new project, offering in-kind support to our Service. They have been renovating our garden in Dundee, which will support families in need, and creating a key space which will:
✅ Engage children and adults to foster positive experiences
✅ Provide a calming, therapeutic environment that supports mental wellbeing
✅ Create a welcoming space for individuals in need of support

Our Service provides crucial support to children, families and individuals across Tayside and Fife, including counselling, therapeutic support, family mediation, and children’s contact, and in the past 12 months alone, local families have benefitted from over 8,000 support sessions. The physical environment has always been a key tool to engage children, and adults, to create positive experiences for them and to strengthen the potential benefit of the support we offer. The in-kind help from Vital Energi and its local contractors, CalForth Construction, has enabled us to have the garden space of “our dreams” as a staff team, one that will maximise the impact of our work with families.

We are in desperate need of items for our refuge welcome packs. If you would like to donate to help families who access our service, we are currently accepting donations of new single bedding/duvets/mattress protectors, toilet brushes, bath mats, bath non slip mats, bath towels and hand towels.

We would also take second hand hoovers or DVD players.
If you are able to donate to the organisation, please contact the office to arrange handover of the items on 01241 439437.
