Possible UTI symptoms? We can help 💡

If you’re experiencing discomfort such as a burning sensation when passing urine, needing to go more often, or lower abdominal pain, you may have a urinary tract infection (UTI).

You don’t always need to wait for a GP appointment to get help. Through the Pharmacy First service at Davidsons Chemists, our trained pharmacists can assess your symptoms and provide support quickly and conveniently. 💚

For eligible patients (women and girls aged 16–64 who are not pregnant or breastfeeding), we can:
✔️ Assess your symptoms in confidence
✔️ Provide treatment where appropriate
✔️ Offer clear advice on managing symptoms
✔️ Refer you onwards if needed

⚠️ Medicine Recall Notice – Crescent Ramipril Capsules ⚠️

A precautionary recall has been issued by The Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) for a batch of Ramipril 10mg capsules manufactured by Crescent Pharma Ltd. due to a packaging error. Some 10mg packs may contain 5mg capsules inside.

It comes after a patient found one blister pack of Ramipril 5mg capsules inside a sealed carton of Ramipril 10mg capsules.

Affected batch: GR174091
(Shown on the outer carton)

The pack will look like the image here.

If you have this batch, check the blister strips inside the box. If they say Ramipril 5mg, please contact your pharmacy.

The risk to patients who may have taken the lower dose for a short period is considered to be very low.

Please do not stop taking your medication without speaking to a healthcare professional first.
