Only 41.5% of bystanders in Northern Ireland performed CPR after coming across a person in cardiac arrest from Jan-Mar 2025.

With Lagan Valley being recently named as one of the areas most in need of AEDs our cardiac rehab patients in Lisburn completed their CPR training as part of their cardiac rehab programme and can act confidently in an emergency.

A massive well done to Mount Alexander Home in Comber who completed their mock arrest simulation training this month!
The staff were able to help a choking resident and acted quickly when the situation deteriorated to provide CPR and use the AED ♥️⚡️

There are around 1500 cardiac arrests in NI every year and less than 1 in 10 will survive!
