Hydrotherapy Pool Officially Open at Fleming Fulton School💧

We’re pleased to have supported the Education Authority (Northern Ireland) with the redevelopment of the hydrotherapy pool at Fleming Fulton School, Belfast – a project that will allow a range of therapy sessions to be provided for pupils aged 3-19 years.

In collaboration with other Term Service contractors, our team was proud to deliver the full electrical installation, including:
✅ Complete rewiring of the pool area
✅ Specialist LED lighting (including colour-changing and feature lighting)
✅ Controls and supplies for heating, ventilation, and chemical treatment system
✅ Pool and hygiene hoists
✅ Integrated fire alarm, door access, and nurse call systems

The pool was officially opened by Minister of Education Paul Givan, and he was joined by the UK’s Minister for Early Education Stephen Morgan MP and Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, Fleur Anderson.

The new facility is already transforming the learning environment for pupils and giving staff the tools to provide even greater care and support.

A great day was had yesterday supporting our local residential care centre, it's been 30 years since opening :o

Here at Abbey MediCare, we are kicking off 2025 to a wonderful start after removing an existing 30 year old tilt and tip bath to something more up to date, the Reval Caprice variable height bath, with integrated variable height hoist for easy access and exit, is more than up to any bathing task,
With all touchless controls with the Rada Sense panel,
And fully uk water compliant (TMV3 and WRAS Cat 5 Certified).

The clients are more than extatic to have this in their facility, and their patients even more so! 😀

Here's a few photos of a powered mobility aid we supplied to one of our good friends Bertie,
Constructed completely from carbon fiber, it folds down flat for easy storage and the total weight is only 15kg 🤯
Light enough to be lifted in and out of the boot.

Some more jobs completed yesterday,
We removed a 20 year old bench and fitted a new, up to date one

And fitted the last hoist of 3 to complete an overhaul of a special school,
