Things I'm grateful for this week ππΌ
A day late, but I was happily celebrating my daughter's birthday yesterday π
1οΈβ£ Happy Spring Equinox! At last, it's here! The time of year when the light and dark are balanced! Signs of Spring are bursting out in nature and everyone seems to be thawing out. Faces turned towards the sky and feeling a sense of better things to come. The Spring Equinox sees the return of the Goddess in many cultures. In Yoga we remember the returning of Parvati who represents power, energy, love, beauty, motherhood and harmony. Harmony brings equality, equality brings justice, justice brings peace. A wonderful start to a new yearβπΌ
2οΈβ£ This week was the first time in around 6 months that I arrived for my evening classes in daylight. It genuinely is these small incidental moments that bring me great joy π
3οΈβ£ and 4οΈβ£ Spring moments in my garden. Buds appearing overnight and pretty pops of colour π±
5οΈβ£ Sitting in the garden with a cuppa, washing on the line! You can't beat it πππ
6οΈβ£ Celebrating our girl's birthday yesterday with a lovely meal! You'll notice the gap where our boy should be, he's tied up with some special filming in Belfast at the moment (and having a blast) but it was lovely to be out with our brood and the food was delicious π
7οΈβ£ Remember how I told you that January wasn't the time for resolutions and new beginnings? Well, now it's time. When better to start something new, set intentions or create a new San Kalpa than when the earth is blooming and starting over again? For those of you who attended my January Reset Retreat Day it's time to look back at the seeds we sowed and start to bring them into fruition! If you didn't make it to the retreat, just start now.Time to get magical and manifesting β¨οΈ
We're going to continue our celebrations this weekend with our son joining us tonight and I'm looking forward to some time outside too in the beautiful sunshine. Have a super weekend.
