ROLE: Support worker - (Care Assistant)
LOCATION: Fife, Scotland, UK
Our company
We are a newly established Home care agency providing services to people in Fife and Edinburgh.
Our service is geared to support the elderly as well as disabled people to live independently in their own home. We offer a range of home care services that are delivered by a team of well trained and caring professionals.
Our services are tailored to meet the needs each people using services and can be used on an hourly, daily, weekly, or occasional basis.
We offer Mandatory training and refreshers courses in Moving and Handling, Safeguarding Adult, First Aid and Basic Life Support, Infection Control, and Health & Safety.
The successful candidate;
Will be required to register with the SSSC registration body, - essential.
• SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care / SVQ 2 Social Services and Healthcare (SCQF level 6) Practice, preferable
Other qualifications considered;
• HNC Social Services
• Any practice qualification in the supervisor category
Should have experience in the care sector, preferably Care at home
Be honest, reliable, and trustworthy.
Have good listening and communication skills.
Have excellent IT skills,
Have empathy for people using services’ situations.
Be committed to working as part of a team.
Be reliable - this is essential as people’s lives are affected by our services.
Be willing to do mandatory training and updates.
We provide full training to all our staff.

We require flexible staff who must be able to cover shifts for holidays and support occasionally.
You will work with the manager for the first two weeks as part of your on-call training.
