Henderson House Care Home is opening its doors for a Career Open Day on Thursday, 11th September, 11:00am – 3:00pm – and we would love you to join us.

We are currently looking for Care Assistants, Trainee Care Assistants (no experience needed – full training given), a Night Nurse and a Domestic Assistant.

Come along on the day and enjoy a guaranteed interview (first come, first served), meet our brilliant team, have a look around the home and find out what makes Henderson House such a great place to work. You will also discover the training, career development opportunities and staff perks we offer.

Today we held a Hawaiian tea dance as one of our monthly events , and also we had to say goodbye to Hannah who made Henderson House shine that little bit brighter, she is going to be missed by all, ❤️ we had a various music selection today and everyone seemed to have an absolute ball and thanks to Mike our tea dance DJ 🎶 and we look forward to next months tea dance 💃 ☮️ ✌🏼

Today we sat outside in the garden and had our lunch and blethered oor wee socks off! We went round the circle and said what we were thankful for in life 🥰❣️

🍕 MAKING PIZZA’S🍕

One of their favourites is making pizzas for there lunch, the residents love doing this as an activity even more so eating the ingredients half way through 🤭😅

A care home held its first community link fun day, welcoming children and staff from various schools and a nursery.

What a glorious day to be out in the sunshine and enjoying a barbecue with friends. The residents and staff all enjoyed a burger or a hotdog while listening to some classics in the garden 🎶🧡💛
