Happy Mother's Day.

Remembering my mum and her legacy. She
worked as a licensed massage therapist in
the US, helping people living with chronic pain. She is why I focused my career on the healing power of touch and massage.

Thank you mum for helping me invest in years of study to reach a L6 BTEC in Advanced Clinical and Sports Massage. You are always remembered every time I walk into the room.

Knotsology clinic was built in memory
of 'Nonna' and pieces of her life, travels
and work as a LMT are present in the cabin.

On the blog: 'Massage Therapy Not Regulated?"

You may be shocked to realize that the massage therapy industry is unregulated in the UK. It is not the only profession like that, to include hair stylist and beauty therapists. Find out more at knotsology.com in the blog. Link in profile.

In the blog we talk about:
• Massage Therapy not regulated in the UK
• Massage Associations
• Differences between the UK and US

Plus: I share my background from the US to the UK within the hair, beauty and massage industries from the early 2000s to obtaining the prestigious L6 BTEC from in 2023.

Let's talk about investment.
Did you know that it only takes you saving £1.50 a day
to receive a 60-minute massage therapy session
at Knotsology every six weeks?

A 90-minute session breaks down to £2.14 a day.

That's £1.50 - £2.14 a day
in comparison to
£2.75-£3.25 for a coffee from a cafe.

How much do you actively invest
on your health and wellness?

I recommend regular scheduled massages
to work with an ongoing individual wellness plan.

Let's start the conversation on setting your plan
at Knotsology today.

Our Story

Bonnie Rose was born in Oxford and grew up across military bases in England, Germany and Italy until the age of 18 when her family relocated back to the US.

She trained as a cosmetologist (US equivalent of a UK beauty therapist) in Illinois and received her cosmetology license with the state of Hawaii. After three years in Hawaii she moved with her husband and children back to the UK. She continued with her career in beauty therapy (cosmetology), working as a hairstylist in Brighton and in Bath, where she has been living since 2012.

"What I enjoyed most about working with my clients as a beauty therapist was being able to offer a moment to unwind and an escape from the busy day to day. These being added services of a hand & arm massage to my clients while their colour processed or a relaxing head massage during a conditioning treatment."

In 2019 following the unexpected death of her mother, a fellow massage therapist from Arizona) Bonnie Rose made the decision to follow in her footsteps and continue her journey specifically as a massage therapist. Packing up her mother's massage therapy room and moving the contents back to the UK, Bonnie Rose started researching where to continue her education. Choosing the renowned Jing advanced massage training based in Brighton, UK. The school's quality and excellence has made it recognised as one of the foremost leaders in the field.
