✨ What an amazing couple of days! ✨

Over the last few days our little nursing team had the chance to attend a fantastic conference BAMAN. It was such a brilliant opportunity to build on our knowledge, learn new things, and also spend some much-needed time together as a team. 🥰

We’ve come away feeling inspired and grateful for the experience.

On a more personal note, I just want to say a huge thank you (and sorry!) to all of my lovely patients for being so understanding with today’s clinic changes. Between delayed flights, a fair bit of stress, and my autoimmune condition flaring up overnight (leaving me with vision in just one eye today), it’s been a bit of a tough one.

Your patience and kindness honestly mean the world to me, and I’m so thankful for each of you. 🙏💐

I can’t wait to get back into clinic, feeling better and ready to put all this new knowledge into practice.

✨ Some days are harder than others ✨

Running a business, being a parent, or just getting through the week isn’t always smooth sailing.

Some days, I don’t feel my best and that’s okay. 💛

It’s important to remind ourselves that we’re human. We all have days when energy is low, motivation dips, or things feel overwhelming. Instead of fighting those feelings, I’m learning to give myself permission to rest, reset, and come back stronger.

To anyone else who might be having “one of those days” – you’re not alone. Take what you need, whether that’s a moment of quiet, a good laugh, or simply knowing tomorrow is a new start. 🌿

There is no legal mechanism for non-medics to prescribe these medications in the UK. Alarmingly, we are now seeing a rise in reports of non-prescribing practitioners unlawfully supplying weight loss drugs - often without appropriate clinical oversight, and sometimes through illicit or unregulated sources.

This not only jeopardises patient safety - it also places those practitioners at serious legal, ethical, and professional risk.

The implications are wide-ranging:
– Unregulated supply chains with no quality assurance
