There’s days where the last thing I want to do is train and I’m already in the gym so you’d think no excuses...

So I know there’ll be days where you finish work and can’t be arsed

But if you want to reach your goals you really have to put in the work, even when you don’t want to!

On those days you don’t want to, tell yourself you’ll go and do at least 30 minutes. Sometimes once you’re there you feel better for it and push more than you think you would

In turn it’ll help you build habits and gets to a point where it’s a non negotiable that you train/walk/go to a class at least 2-3 times a week

That’s when you’ll start to see progress 💪🏻

If you need any help getting started, drop me a message ☺️

Want to get stronger, leaner or feel better in your body but not seeing results? Then you need to start tracking your workouts

Tracking weights, reps and sets is a simple tool to help show you progress, if you hit a plateau and help you train with purpose

My clients get a log book to track their progress and take notes on sessions to help get the results they want

If you’re tired of aimlessly going around the gym then drop me a message to see how I could help ☺️

*Small changes lead to big results over time*

Progressive overload is about consistent progress, rather than lifting the same weight for 8 weeks in a row try increasing the intensity.

Whether that’s adding weight, increasing reps, adding volume or changing tempo. You want to be having to push harder to get that last few reps out.

By gradually increasing demands during exercise it promotes muscle growth, strength and endurance and this is where you’ll see changes and the results you want.

So next time you’re training think about how you could increase the intensity of your exercises.

Ready to feel stronger than ever and need help on how to do this or how it should feel?

💥Client spotlight - Laura 💥

Absolutely buzzing for my client Laura. She reached out to me in September last year needing help to change her lifestyle and to lose weight to help manage her PCOS symptoms. She wasn’t sure on how to start and do this on her own

Fast forward to this week Laura comes in and has lost 25kg over the last 6 months!! Not only that her strength has increased, built confidence to train on her own outside of sessions and PCOS symptoms are better controlled and more manageable than ever before, especially fatigue!

The two main things Laura has done to help achieve this goal - be consistent and prioritise! Laura works shifts as a nurse so even at times after her third 12 hour shift in a row she made sure she got to the gym. In this time she’s been on weekends away, trips home to Ireland, and enjoyed social events. BUT she’s been consistent no matter what, mindful of her eating and in the gym 3/4 sometimes 5 times a week

I keep Laura accountable and have taught her how to push herself, how to track her training and how things should feel. It shows if you put in the hard work, you will get there and it is worth it! To see her confidence grow and hear the things she has picked up from me passing on to other people is exactly why I love this job 🥰 can’t wait to see how much more we can do! 🔥

If you feel like you need help getting started then drop me a message to see how I can help you reach your goals 😊
