🦸🏻‍♀️ We can actually grow human beings!!

From the tiniest heartbeat on a 3mm baby to a fully functional ready for life human in a matter of 40 weeks is truly a miracle.

And I’m lucky enough to witness this on a daily basis ❤️

Does anyone else let anxiety ruin their day?
This picture of calm which I took today could not be any different from how I felt arriving in Yorkshire on Saturday. My anxiety kicked in as I have never visited this particular place before, I was seriously falling out with myself! The camper awning was up..It was down..then back up and down again 🤦🏽‍♀️ and at one point my anxiety was so bad I just wanted to go home to my safe place.

I rode the waves of fear which I created and yesterday and today have been exceptionally calming and beautiful.

When we let fear rule us we miss out on so much, my motto now is to feel the fear and do it anyway. Sometimes I win and other times I seriously regret my decision.

Please don’t let fear or anxiety ruin your pregnancy or precious time with your baby, it is time you will never get back, seek help if you need it. Life needs to be lived and if I can push myself anyone can ❤️ Picture taken on Bridlington Beach

Were back!

🌿Saturday 13th September 🌿

Our antenatal classes are back after a summer reset. We have refreshed our format and can’t wait to share the changes with you all.
The classes will now be held on a Saturday morning, no more early Sunday rise!

We have enrolled the help of a nursery nurse, she will be onboard to give you additional content on those first few days at home when you really feel you don’t have a clue.

The class time stays the same as does the venue.
9:30am-12:30 pm at Carnegie leisure centre.

We really can’t wait to see you ❤️

The fourth trimester. What no one talks about!

Those first few days are raw and tender and overwhelming — for you and your baby. You are both learning, learning a new role and it’s definitely uneasy.

It’s messy and emotional and exhausting. But slowly, the fog lifts, your body heals and you both settle.

You don’t recognise the person you are now but you will realize you’re stronger than you ever imagined.

Simple advice ❤️
You don’t need to do it all alone.
Ask for help, say yes when someone offers a meal or to hold the baby while you nap. Be gentle with yourself — you’re recovering, learning, and loving all at once.

To offer our clients more flexibility we are trialling daytime scan lists. With more people working remotely we feel the time is right.
Our first daytime list is 25th August.

We hope by offering daytime availability this suits some of our clients who may struggle with childcare and who work from home.
