Introducing… Yoga Brunch Club ✨

An energising Sunday morning of breath, movement and beautiful food.

Join Jane and I for a slow and soulful start to the day at the beautiful Studio 72 in Aberdour. We’ll begin by gently waking up the body with breathwork before flowing through a feel-good yoga practice designed to build strength, mobility and ease.

After the final stretch, the calm simply shifts to the table.

Our post-yoga brunch is a relaxed, family-style gathering where movement meets mindful indulgence. Expect nourishing homemade dishes, fresh smoothies, warm drinks and easy conversation in a welcoming space.

Come as you are. Leave refreshed, uplifted, connected and smiling.

This is what happens when we give the body time.

February in class was all about shoulders — exploring strength, mobility and support from lots of different angles… not just chasing a pose, but understanding how we arrive there.

And today, Emma floated both feet away from the wall in Shoulder Stand 💜

Not because she forced it.
Not because she “pushed through”.
But because week by week, we built the foundations — strength, awareness, confidence.

The wall was never a crutch… it was a tool.

It helped her find length, space and alignment — and when her body was ready, it simply became optional.

That’s the magic of progressive practice ✨
Not perfection… but trust in what your body can learn to do.

This year, we’re theming each month around a different area of the body.

January → Hips
February → Shoulders
March → Hamstrings 👀

(Yes, I know… the collective groan has already begun 😂)

But in modern life, hamstrings are one of the areas that need us most.

So over the next few weeks we’ll explore them from every angle — stretch, strength, support and strategy — building towards a posture that will feel more accessible by the end of the month than it might today.

Because yoga isn’t about achieving shapes…
It’s about understanding your body.

And watching confidence grow along the way 💛

ONE 🤍

Today marks one full year of teaching full-time and being self-employed.

A year ago, I hoped this would work.
I dreamed it would.
But if I’m honest, I wasn’t totally sure it could.

And yet — here we are ☺️

This past year has allowed me to do work that genuinely matters to me. I’ve shared yoga with more people than I ever imagined, welcomed Pilates into the mix, met new faces, built routines, and watched a community quietly grow — mat by mat, week by week.

Yoga means to yoke/unite. For me it resonates as union. And while that can mean many things — breath and body, movement and stillness — the meaning that speaks loudest to me is community. The familiar faces. The new ones. The quiet comfort of sharing space together. The kindness, safety, and sense of belonging that shows up every time we step onto the mat.

I feel incredibly privileged to teach. No matter what’s going on in my own life, teaching always feels like a gift.

Thank you to every single person who has ever rolled out a mat with me — whether once or every week. You’ve made this first year what it is 🙏🏼

Here’s to what’s next 🤍

Hello 2026 ✨

A new year, a fresh page, and so much possibility ahead.

I’m heading into this year feeling quietly excited — curious about what it might bring, open to trying new things, and grateful for the space to grow, learn and evolve (on and off the mat).

To those who’ve been practising with me already — thank you. It will be such a joy to welcome you back into the room when classes recommence, and I can’t wait to see familiar faces, shared smiles, and those little moments of calm we create together.

And if you’re new here, or have been hovering quietly in the background — you are so welcome. New classes, new opportunities, and plenty of space for beginners, returners, and anyone craving a little more movement, rest, and “me time” this year.

Mostly, I hope 2026 is kind to you.

Kind to your body, your nervous system, your energy, and your heart.

Here’s to moving gently, resting deeply, and showing up just as we are.

I took this little time-lapse after class tonight under the December full moon.

A body I didn’t feel comfortable in.
A mind that had been too loud all day.
But also… a heart that still wanted to move.

I spend far too much time thinking about my body shape.

Too fat. Not fit. Not “yogic enough”.

And I forget — again and again — that my body is the vessel my soul lives in.

That my worth isn’t tied to a scale or a measuring tape.

That my external shape doesn’t tell the story of everything I carry inside.

Tonight, even though I wasn’t really feeling it:

✨ My body moved
✨ My breath flowed
✨ My love for teaching still shone through

Maybe you need that reminder too —
your body does not need to look a certain way to be worthy of movement, rest, or respect.
Be gentle with yourselves.
